Hansen Wildlife Area

Dave and Patty Hansen donated this 198-acre parcel of land to Cerro Gordo County Conservation in 2022.  The property primarily consists of prairie/wetland habitat. The Hansen's restored a very diverse prairie mix in the southwest corner of the property.  The area is open to public hunting, wildlife viewing, and prairie plant identification.  The property is located 5.5 miles north and 1 mile east of Ventura.
