Shellrock River Greenbelt and Preserve

A 7.5-mile drive, walk, canoe float, bicycle, or horseback ride along the limestone bluffs on the Shellrock River leads through 590 acres of woods, meadows, and ponds.  Primitive camping and picnic area available in the preserve section of the greenbelt, located on Yucca Avenue between 290th and 280th Streets.  The greenbelt is also accessible from 295th Street south of Wilkinson Park and Highway 122 west of Nora Springs.
